Social responsibility is a solid part of our corporate culture. At the beginning of July, our drivers participated in the Trucks for Children charity event at the airport in Březno near Chomutov, which is aimed at helping seriously ill children.
At our company, we believe that success is measured not only by numbers, but above all by the willingness to help those who have it hardest in life. Therefore, we are extremely pleased when our equipment and our people can participate in projects that have a direct and tangible impact on human destinies.
From July 10 to 12, our drivers set off with their polished SCANIA trucks to represent MEIXNER & HANUŠ a.s. at the exceptional Trucks for Children event held at the airport in Březno near Chomutov.
Behind this event is a team of professional drivers who annually organize a charity gathering of trucks from all over the Czech Republic and abroad. Not only classic European tractors were to be seen here, but also polished American machines. The main goal of the whole meeting is the support of seriously ill children – all proceeds from the event go directly to a specific child and their family to manage their demanding life situation.
Our guys put everything into preparing the vehicles, polished the trucks down to the last detail, and showed that MEIXNER & HANUŠ a.s. has its heart in the right place. However, the greatest recognition belongs to their personal commitment – they participated in the event in their free time. Solidarity, pride in work well done, and willingness to help are the values on which we have long built our company.
We also direct great respect and thanks to the organizers from among our fellow drivers for the great organization, unique atmosphere, and meaningful charity crossover of the entire event.
